Old To New

Saturday, January 28

Hi guys! I’m really sorry about not being on for a few weeks. Lacking inspiration and self esteem but I am happy and smiling now. You may be wondering. Old to new? What are you talking about.

Basically my family is moving. Not towns or cities or anything like that. Just houses. From one side of town to the other. You never know. Maybe once we get settled in, in a few weeks, I’ll show you little snippets of my room and outside. Not a full room tour or house tour. But maybe just a little desk tour, or ‘Things That Make Me… ME!’

Someone remind me to make that a blog post.

Old to new. People…humans. A lot of us don’t like to change things. Whether it be family, houses, towns, makeup routines, even hair for some of us.

But it is something we all need to do. One day, we will all move out of home. Forcefully or on your own terms.

There are things I don’t like about moving and this new home. While moving you need to pack things up, eat less to save money and room, obey your parents while they’re stressed. Then having to unpack.

The new house has little, if any yard. You know the pitch in the middle of the cricket oval? It’s about half the size of that. If half. Probably even shorter. There’s a huge shed for my dad to be in all his glory, wheelchair access for my 16 year old dog, gaming room for my brother and fully air-conditioned for my mum.

What about me? Well I have a huge room so I don’t really care about anything else. As long as I have a power socket, WiFi and my tablet, I’m fine.

Anyway, I’ve been rambling for way too long, so I’ll be leaving. I might even write a new post just because I feel like writing and I feel bad for not uploading in a while.

Your Inspiration

Wednesday, January 11

For all you Zoella fans, you will know that she has released the final book in her trilogy, Girl Online, Girl Online: Going Solo. The main character Penny, as well as facing other problems, also has to battle her photography for something ‘uniquely Penny’.

Finding something uniquely you can vary from one week to twenty years or even more. As long as your passionate, and love what you do, you can get there. Hannah Hoffman, a Youtuber, specialising in digital art, said that she found her style by just copying other amazing drawers. Hannah would just change things she didn’t like.

For anything you do, you need to find your style. Whether it be a blog, YouTube video, or even new glasses product. The maker has found their style and inspiration, and is willing sharing to share it with the world.

Which is what I am doing. I have been keeping a diary, and based on some blogs and writing styles I really like, I have been keeping a diary based on them. I’ve found my inspiration and now I am willing to share my creation – this blog – with the world so that you can find your inspiration.

I hope you are all having a wonderful day, and that soon, you can find your inspiration.
